This short video explains the moment everything clicked for me.
It wasn't about finding the perfect planner.
Or becoming more organized.
Or trying harder.
It was about realizing that ADHD isn't a willpower problem.
It's a support problem.
the family shift quiz:
Your family isn't failing.
You're likely caught in a pattern no one ever taught you how to recognize.
Every ADHD family gets stuck somewhere.
Some struggle to get started.
Others carry too much in their heads.
Some get pulled into big emotions.
Others feel like they're constantly spinning in circles.
This 2-minute quiz will help you discover your family's pattern and your first small shift toward calmer days.

FAQs
I still have questions about where I should start?
Start with the free 2-minute quiz above. It gives you your family's pattern, one of four, and a plan that fits it. Not a diagnosis. Just a first step that isn't "try harder."
Are you trying to sell me anything?
I do have a few paid toolkits and courses, along with 1:1 coaching, for when you want more support. (With more on the way.) But you never have to spend a dime to get real help here. Start free. Take only what serves you. I’ll only ever point you to the next small step, never a leap you’re not ready for.
What is the SHIFT method?
Most approaches treat your child as the problem to fix. I believe ADHD doesn’t affect just one person. It affects the whole family. The kid with the diagnosis. The parent starting to see herself in it. The sibling quietly struggling too. Which means nobody in your house is the problem.
What are your qualifications?
I’m a certified coach, trained in ADHD coaching, the Smart but Scattered executive function framework, and ADHD parent coaching. (I’m also a former teacher and dyslexia interventionist.) So yes, I’ve done the formal work. But the training that shaped all of this most was raising my own family.
So.. why did you start this?
I threw myself into researching ADHD to help my own family. And one night, at my kitchen table, it hit me: this was never about fixing one kid. It was about supporting a whole family. Not one of my trainings had told me that. So I set out to become the support I wish we’d had.
Are you an expert?
First and foremost? I’m a mom who has lived this life. Before I was any kind of coach, I was just a parent trying to figure out my own family, in the same hard mornings you’re in right now.
(My whole story is the first post in my blog. If you would like to read it.)
How is ADHD Family Shift different?
So we don’t add more trying. We do the opposite. We start with understanding, because understanding takes the shame out of the hard moments. Once it lifts, there’s room for support that works. Then we build that support around the whole family, so there’s less to carry, not more.
I have eaten and breathed ADHD tools to help my family. How could I be under-supported?
So many of the tools out there were built for a brain that runs on memory and willpower. Yours doesn’t. So of course they kept failing. That was never a discipline problem. It was a support problem.
Wait.. what? My whole family?
Most approaches treat your child as the problem to fix. I believe ADHD doesn’t affect just one person. It affects the whole family. The kid with the diagnosis. The parent starting to see herself in it. The sibling quietly struggling too. Which means nobody in your house is the problem.
Can I have the punchline first? Yes (You’re welcome)
ADHD rarely affects just one person. It affects the whole family. Your family isn’t under-disciplined. It’s under-supported.
I’ve tried everything. Why would this be different?
Fair warning: this is the one question I can't keep short. It's one of the reasons I founded ADHD Family Shift in the first place. So stay with me. The next few questions are really all one answer.
Before You Go...
not a fix. a shift.
You don't have to figure this out all at once.
You don't need to become a different parent.
You don't need a perfect system.
You just need one next step.
That's how real change happens.
One family.
One shift.
One day at a time.
