Adult ADHD and Executive Function Coaching in Collierville, TN

My path into ADHD and executive function coaching opened my eyes to how deeply ADHD affects adults and how often it’s misunderstood. In my own journey, I discovered that ADHD doesn’t just shape school years, it impacts careers, relationships, and daily life. 


Along the way, I’ve met so many bright, capable, hardworking adults who still feel like they’re constantly running uphill.


Here’s what I hear from adults all the time:

  • “I’m always busy, but I never feel productive.” 
  • “I start with the best intentions, but I can’t seem to follow through.”
  • “My brain feels like it has too many tabs open—and I can’t find the right one.”
     

That’s where adult ADHD and Executive Function coaching comes in. Together, we build executive function skills like planning, prioritizing, time management, and emotional regulation - skills that bring more clarity and less chaos.

Think of executive function as your brain’s management system. It’s what helps you plan, stay organized, manage time, remember details, and follow through. When these skills are strong, life runs more smoothly - you can set goals, stay focused, and actually finish what you start.


And here’s the best part: executive function isn’t a fixed trait. These are skills, which means they can be taught, practiced, and strengthened at any age.

For adults, ADHD and executive function are deeply connected. ADHD makes it harder for the brain’s “manager” to stay on top of things, so planning ahead, keeping track of responsibilities, or actually finishing what you start can feel like climbing a mountain.


This isn’t about laziness or lack of ability; it’s the way the ADHD brain is wired. 


Understanding that is powerful because it explains why you may feel constantly busy but rarely productive, or why follow-through is so hard even when the motivation is there.

Yes, lots of it! Executive function skills can absolutely improve with the right tools and support. 


Small, doable changes really do add up. I’ve seen adults finally find systems that stick, feel more in control of their time, and build confidence in both work and home life.


The shift is real: from frustration to understanding, from chaos to calm-ish, and from just surviving to thriving.

I’m a certified ADHD parent coach with extensive training in the Smart but Scattered® framework and Unstuck and On Target. I’ve also completed numerous trainings and certifications focused on ADHD, executive function, and evidence-based coaching.
