My coaching focuses on equipping individuals and families with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to manage ADHD and build executive function skills—like time management, emotional regulation, task initiation, and organization. Through education, skill development, and compassionate support, I help clients create systems that actually work. Whether it’s a child struggling with routines, a teen overwhelmed by school demands, or a parent unsure how to help, my goal is lasting transformation—so families don’t just survive ADHD, they thrive through it.
Yes! While The ADHD Shift was born from family experience, my coaching program is adaptable and effective for individuals, couples, and adults without children. Whether you're parenting with ADHD or managing it on your own, the tools and insight are designed to support your unique journey.
Because ADHD doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It impacts communication, routines, emotions, relationships, and how a household functions day to day. Whether it’s a two-parent home, a single-parent family, co-parents, blended families, or chosen families, the dynamics around ADHD affect everyone under that roof.
When only one person gets support, change often stalls. But when everyone gains insight, tools, and a shared understanding, the whole system starts to shift. Coaching the whole family creates clarity, reduces conflict, and rebuilds connection—so you’re not working against each other, but with each other.
This isn’t about “fixing” someone with ADHD. It’s about equipping the whole unit with what they need to thrive—together. No matter what your family looks like, real change happens when everyone’s on the same page.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. It’s a personalized, real-life approach for the whole family built on lived experience, evidence-based strategies, and a deep understanding of how ADHD impacts the entire household—not just the individual.
No, I do not provide a formal diagnosis. However, I can help you understand ADHD symptoms and executive function challenges, and I offer support for families navigating the diagnostic or treatment process. If you need an evaluation, I’m happy to refer you to a trusted professional.
Coaching focuses on what’s happening right now and how to move forward with practical strategies. Unlike therapy, coaching doesn’t diagnose or process trauma. And unlike tutoring, coaching doesn’t teach academic content—instead, I focus on the skills behind learning and functioning, like planning, prioritizing, and emotional regulation.
Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the need and goals. Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes and can be held in person or virtually. A customized coaching plan is developed based on each client’s needs and progress.
While I do not bill insurance directly, many clients use their HSA or FSA accounts to pay for coaching. I can provide receipts and session documentation if needed. Check with your plan provider for details.
Yes! I offer virtual coaching so you can get support from wherever you are—home, work, or on the go. Whether you're local or across the country, virtual sessions make it easy to stay consistent, connected, and supported. All you need is a quiet space and an internet connection.
Through The ADHD Shift and a clear, personalized blueprint, families affected by ADHD can move from overwhelm and uncertainty to clarity, connection, and lasting change—using real insight, real tools, and real support. Contact Wendy today to schedule a free chat.
